Dutchs Restaurant in Quanah

We just ate breakfast at Dutch's. The prices are great, the food fantastic. The best part of the experience was the young man (15) who was our server. Very polite, professional, and a beautiful work ethic. So refreshing to see now a days. Will always plan to stop here on our way through each time.Keep up the good work Aadarsha.🤗

Great buffet for a small to medium size restaurant.

Food was ok. Very slow even though they were not busy. It's a locals place and e didn't feel welcome. Told us to sit anywhere then made us move. Apparently we sat at a VIP table.

Incredible service, wonderfully delicious food, chorizo breakfast was amazing. 👌 Parking available for truckers too. Highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat.

Was ready for a nice breakfast but found out it was closed. Not sure if it’s seasonal or permanent. Owner replied he is renovating. Not sure when they’re reopening

We travel through Quanah every few months. We have stopped at Dutch's Restaurant numerous times. We have always enjoyed the buffet but today was different. The buffet closes at 2:00pm. We arrived at 1:05pm and most of the containers were empty. We assumed since it was still open for almost an hour items would be replenished. We were wrong. The fried chicken was wonderful. My husband managed to scrape up a small amount of the chicken spaghetti which he said was very flavorful. The mashed potatoes would have been good If they were warm. They were out of the snap beans. There was enough cabbage for both of us to get a scoop full. If the buffet was not going to be replenished the waitress should have mentioned that fact. I would have ordered from the menu.

SOOOO good. Everything was hot, including the chips. Didn't take long to get to my table, although it wasn't busy at 5pm on a Tuesday. Regardless, price was fair, food was great, service was just right. I'll be back in the morning for breakfast.

First time here and I will definitely come back! I ordered breakfast and my waitress told me it would be a little while ( 1/2 hr actually), but when it did finally arrive it was hot, fresh and very delicious!I just have to make sure I don't order while they're putting out the steam table! LOL!My waitress was friendly, attentive and had a good personality!Yes I will definitely keep coming back when I get through town.Keep up the good work!

A nice little family restaurant right next door to the Love's truck stop. So it a great place for truck drivers like me. They had a lunch buffet for $8.99. All the main dishes were delicious. The Goulash was well seasoned, hamburger steak with grilled onions, chicken fried steak and hand breaded chicken strips. The side dishes were a bit bland and the salad bar was basic. I went back for several servings of the main dishes. It's a nice change from fast food on the road. Service was friendly and attentive. I'm definitely coming back. They also have a regular menu, but I went for the buffet thus time

Fresh cut fries and high quality food. plenty of room great atmosphere and friendly staff. Google says theyre closed but they were open

Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Literally had to order 3 different times because they didn't have the food. Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food barely had any taste to it what so ever. Everything was horrible

This rustic Texas restaurant offers authentic down home Texas cooking. I ordered the catfish plate for $10.99 and it was great, very tasty. I only had two complaints with regards to this restaurant. 1). They did not have any desserts (pecan pie would have been just perfect for this type of restaurant). 2). Like all north Texas/Oklahoma eating establishments, there is a constant battle with house flies in this part of the USA. This restaurant in particular needs to invest in several fly zappers strategically placed.Overall, this was a great Texas eatery and I do recommend it

This place has been totally redecorated during the past 4-5 months. More light and airy feeling, improved and clean restrooms, comfortable seating, and social distancing. Food is really good !!! And of good quality and freshness! Service is friendly and refills served with a smile. Chicken Fried Steak and Catfish are excellent, but a full breakfast is my fave ! Oh, and the burgers (80% beef) and Mexican food...have eaten most all food on menu... Prices are fair. What more can I say? Visit and form your own good food report .........

We were in town for a football game and ate dinner here. Food was great, as was the service. We'll definitely be back when we come through town again.

Stopped for lunch buffet ...... Good food and service ... But the Bathroom, for some reason you cant flush toilet paper so they use a garbage can. And it smells like dog poo!! Otherwise would have given it 4 stars!!

I had a cheese burger and fries...dam good burger...i spent the night here( they allow big truck parking)...breakfast I had biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage and coffee..dam it was really good.. Prices are reasonable and good service.. I'll be back 👍

Just finished eating here and I have to say. I was extremely impressed. I had the catfish dinner. Portion to price was amazing , large portion of catfish strips and French fries for the 11.99 price. As a appetizer I had the fried mushrooms. Again for 6.99 a good portion. The reviews I had read before said that service could’ve been faster. I am telling you on this visit service was great!! I sat down made myself comfortable within ordering my appetizer it wasn’t 5 minutes before they were hot and on my table. And my dinner was spaced perfectly between first course and second. Hot and 5-7 minutes after appetizer . Again, GREAT JOB, I Will Be Back!!

Excellent food on the buffet. The catfish was amazing. Very friendly staff! Definitely be back when staying at the state park again.

I ate here around pct 23rd or so shorty after they say there closed for a while idk what they got closed for but I ended up in hospital for week with meningitis idk if it’s coincidence or not

It took forever to be served, about 1/2 an hour, which was simply not acceptable for the quality of the steak I ordered. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was incredibly bland (I'm talking next to no spices,) around 20% of it was fat, and it wasn't even medium rare, it was much closer to well done. And the salad bar was no better, it was pretty bare and astonishingly small when you consider the capacity of the restaurant, and the things included there tasted like they had been left out for at least a day.

Had catfish and fries and parked the big rig outside for overnight. Fish was fantastic! Fries were a little soggy. Seemed priced a tad high but not much competition in area so can’t blame them. Would definitely visit again.

Service was outstanding and the chicken fajitas were great! The beans were incredible and had a nice smoky flavor. Really glad I stopped here for dinner on my way through town. Will definitely be back next time I’m passing through!

It's an ok roadside restaurant. Food is average. The locals seem to like it. Strange message in the men's room, instructing visitors to deposit used toilet paper in a special trash can, and not in the toilet. So.....

Not much happenin' here in Quanah, Texas but Dutch's was pretty good! The staff were super friendly.

Not what we expected breakfast to be in Texas. The food was cold. The French toast was just lightly toasted bread, which I didn't eat. The bacon was thin and tasteless. The biscuits and gravy was supposed to come with sliced potatoes. It came with French fries. When asked how our breakfast was, we told them our opinion. We were still charged for the inedible food. Coffee and hash browns were good. We will not be eating there again. fries.

Really good homage food with large portions. Do your self a favor, get off the road and enjoy. You won't be sorry!

Great service! Professional, polite staff. Clean, inviting atmosphere. Food came out quick and hot. Very accommodating...made a fresh pot of coffee just for me. Food was excellent and priced just right! Highly recommend this place!
